Lessons: Practice What You Preach

Jesus was no hypocrite. His life was totally consistent with his teaching. He teaches, for example:

Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Later on, as he is suffering the most cruel and painful death imaginable, he prays,

Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.

Now that is practicing what you preach.
